Creative Journey through Dream-work and the ImaginationThe essence of creativity resides in our unconscious. Using symbols from dreams or the imagination, we will explore mixed media art as a vehicle for bringing the unconscious forward. We will focus on developing intuition through creative exercises including dream-work, active imagination, journaling, and dialoguing as well as "hands-on" experiences in a wide range of mediums (i.e., drawing, painting, sculpting, printing and movement). You will develop an effective visual vocabulary and learn to ask insightful questions about your internal process. No prerequisites are required; however, an active imagination and willingness to take creative risks is recommended.
